    hi bob

another beauty, this one of a completely different feel – quiet and recessive in composition and color -

in both cases i wish i could see the image larger – even when i tried reducing the resolution the image didn’t get much better – how about considering having the main image fill most of the screen width? or at least let the viewer be able to select this larger view? i did click on the large image which enlarged it but i’d love to have it even larger -

now i found by shifting the dock to the right side instead of the bottom of the screen, i can get a much larger image – looks great! i’m leaving the above so you know what some viewers may go through to get a big view – but probably most wouldn’t think of doing these things -

    btw: what’s a gravatar?

    ciao …. ted

    Ted,

    I appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

This site is part of a larger plan which will include commercial activity. The virtual Online Art Gallery will have a physical counterpart where works can be hung and displayed. There will also be facilities included for online sales. As such, the site is meant to provide a ‘sampler’ of the contributing artists’ works, and not necessarily be the final venue for display.

Those invited to be contributing members of the OAG will need to have, and will have, full control over their image sizes and resolutions to the point they feel protected from piracy. If they choose to show their works in large format or at high resolution, they will be able to do so by linking the end image to the post content itself. Either way, the artist maintains control of their content and its presentation through access to the posting utilities.

As you can see, we are still in the process of design. Your feedback is appreciated and has helped us clarify our position on the issue of piracy protection, and on finding an alternative to allow the possibility of full scale presentations.

    Thanks again.
    Bob
